With cooler weather upon us, I thought why not enjoy the outdoors and our POLYWOOD Braxton Dining Set.
I love to entertain and create an inviting tablescape which will set the tone for a great event with friends and family.

What is tablescape
The term tablescape is when you incorporate centerpieces, plates, silverware and overall decor for your table. It’s meant to elevate your dining experience. It’s a way to express to your guests how special they are.

This time of year I wanted to style a festive tablescape on our POLYWOOD table. POLYWOOD is an amazing outdoor furniture company that makes all of it’s furniture from 100% recycled plastics. They come in a variety of styles and colors to choose from. We have the Braxton 7 piece set in black. It compliments our lanterns and doors perfectly.

Be inspired with what You have
Most of these items I had on hand. Always look around your home and see what inspires you.
Add layers and texture
The wicker charger adds texture while the white plates act as a blank canvas allowing the other decor pop.

Vintage touch
I’m a collector of vintage silverware. Mix matching old pieces together creates an eclectic look. The elegant cloth napkin provides a design pattern that compliments with the colors of the tablescape.
Mercury glass has a nostalgic vibe. The centerpiece Christmas tree adds the right amount of sparkle and vintage touch.

Candles
Of course you need candles. These from HomeGoods look like birch bark, adding a rustic touch. The candle sticks were a purchase from Hobby Lobby. Adding the faux cedar wreaths brings nature in with some color. The greenery down the center is faux eucalyptus and a couple of Christmas berry springs from Michael’s.
Designing a beautiful tablescape is a great way to make your guests feel extra special! Our POLYWOOD dining set lends to an amazing outdoor dining experience!
