Choosing bathroom tiles can be an overwhelming decision with so many options nowadays, so I have narrowed it down to some of my favorite designs!
Bathrooms are the perfect space to have fun with your tile! This is a great way to incorporate character and charm in a small space. Bold and whimsy patterns can be added to a floor or wall for an eye catching look. I like to design stand out spaces while mixing unique patterns with marble and solid subway tiles. Pattern tiles can be a bit more expensive, so I like to apply them on a focal wall or in a small area such as the bathroom floor. Check out a few of my favorite pattern tiles and their gorgeous bathroom inspiration.
Tarbarka Studio Signature

This is a perfect application for a focal wall. The pattern creates just the right amount of interest while still allowing the other design elements to shine through.

Bristol: The Cement Tile Shop

The Bristol from The Cement Tile shop is a classic black and white design. The bold pattern will provide the perfect amount of “wow” factor!

This was a bathroom remodel. Susan updated it using bold tile, copper fixtures and wood elements. This bathroom turned out amazing!
Estrella Grey: Riad Tile

Estrella grey is a staple, classic tile pattern from Riad Tile. The starburst design and soft grey color scheme is perfect for bathroom walls and floors.
Alpine Rose: The Cement Tile Shop

The Alpine Rose from the Cement Tile Shop would be beautiful for a little girls bathroom, incorporating marble subway and polished nickel fixtures.

Tulips B Navy: Villa Lagoon

Tulips B Navy’s perfect shades of blue would make a statement in a pool bath.
Tips On Picking The Right Tiles
- Order Samples! This is a must even if you have seen them in person. I always order 4 tiles so I can recreate the pattern design in the space.
- Arrange a mood board with the pattern tiles, subways, hardware, cabinet color and paint. This way you get a better visualization of the total space.
- Hold the pattern tiles next to your shower subways. You want to pick the right subway whether it be a marble or solid that will perfectly coordinate with the pattern design.
