This cheese ball recipe is a staple appetizer every holiday season at our house. It‘s incredibly easy to whip up and it can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
With Christmas a couple of weeks away comes the invites and the dreaded “what do I bring to the party”! Well, I am sharing the tastiest cheese ball ever. I have been making this recipe every Thanksgiving and Christmas for years. It is the perfect appetizer to bring to your next holiday party or make as a hostess gift and present on a cake stand with cheese spreaders.
Cheese Ball Recipe
- 1 8oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 8oz Gouda (shredded)
- 1/4 C Sour Cream
- 1 Tbs Butter (softened)
- 2 Tbs Green onions (minced)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 Cup chopped walnuts
- 2 Tbs minced parsley

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, using a beater, mix cream cheese, gouda, sour cream, butter, green onion and garlic. Once thoroughly mixed, form into a ball and wrap in cellophane. Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight is better. When ready to serve, unwrap from the cellophane and shape into a ball. Garnish with chopped walnuts and minced parsley. Serve with crackers of your choice. I personally love Pepperidge Farms Entertainer and Carr’s Crackers.
Thank you for visiting! Enjoy!
