I have been told that I make the best guac! It’s so easy and delicious I guarantee it will be a hit for taco night!
First thing is you need the perfect avocados. Haas are a must for this recipe.
How to pick the perfect avocado
Avocados can’t be too hard or too soft. They have to be just right. The stem is the indicator to how ripe your avocado is. If you try to remove the stem and it can not be removed then it’s not ripe. Your avocado is the perfect ripeness when the stem can be easily removed.
What to do when your avocados are not ripe
Store your unripe avocados in a brown bag on the counter for a couple of days to speed up the process.
If you want to slow ripening, store your avocados in the refrigerator.
