The Florida weather has been amazingly cool the past few days and I thought it would be nice to set up a hot cocoa bar!

I love the idea of having all the toppings and Cocoa on display during the month of December. My family absolutely enjoys coming home and seeing all the fixings for one spectacular cup of hot cocoa. It’s so fun for them to load up on marshmallows, peppermints, whip cream and more! This is about making one more holiday memories with your family and friends.

The disPlay
For starters, you need a large tray. I got mine for Homegoods… of course. This one is so beautiful made out of wood and has rustic metal handles. This makes it very easy to transfer to another area if need be.

Glass jars
Clear apothecary jars are a must to contain all your toppings. I headed back to Homegoods and found these vintage inspired clear jars with lids in different shapes and styles. It’s fun to be creative and mix different glassware. I think it provides interest and it is reminiscent of vintage glass collected over time. For serving spoons, I used some from my collection of old silverware.

Toppings
Marshmallows
Whip Cream
Chocolate Chips
Toffee Bits
Sprinkles
Chocolate Syrup
Carmel Syrup
Candy Canes
Peppermint Stirring Sticks
Pirouette Cookies
Decorating
For decorating the tray I used faux sprigs of tree trimmings and berries for added color. I strategically placed mini wrapped candy canes as an extra treat or hang off your mug.
The entire display turned out so pretty and my kids love it! Now when guests stop by, it’s so nice to offer a fun way to make hot cocoa.

Mugs
I found the cutest Christmasy mugs from the Hearth and Hand line at Target. They are simply white with red trim and they have a sweet red tree embossed inside the mug. I just wanna cozy up by the fire with one of these festive mugs filled with hot cocoa and whipped cream.
